WHO WE ARE
An association for human dignity
Alliance VITA is an association which was founded in France at the end of 1993 when the first bioethical laws were at issue.
The association acts on two principle axes:
- Aid for persons confronted with life’s hardships and challenges.
- Heightening public and policy-makers’ awareness to protect human life.

Listen & help
These platforms are intended for people facing trials in life, either around pregnancy or around the end of life, dependence, and bereavement. Nearly one million connections to our listening and support sites as well as thousands of calls are received each year.
Inform & train
The University of Life, training cycle and 1st national bioethics event, organized each year in January by Alliance VITA, has already brought together and trained more than 36,000 people in major bioethical issues.
Nearly 300 experts and witnesses have already intervened: doctors, academics, philosophers …
Alert & raise awareness
Alliance VITA alerts decision-makers and the public opinion through national and international information campaigns. These campaigns focus on mobilization and awareness-raising on the protection of life, respect for human dignity, and children protection.
Every day, Alliance VITA and its teams work hard to ensure that the protection of the most vulnerable is at the heart of future directions in bioethics.
International Cooperation
Since November 2014, Alliance VITA has founded VITA International. An essential structure for the effectiveness of our action in France and which allow taking into account, more broadly, on a European and global scale, the universal dimension of the cause of life.
