Launch of the Bioethics University on 20th January 2025
Being human and remaining so tomorrow
In Paris, the Bioethics University, “Université de la vie”, is being held at 6 rue Albert de Lapparent in the 7th “arrondissement” (district).
The Bioethics University is a unique event, with its renewed intent of arousing awareness of bioethics questions, which opens on 20th January 2025. The programme for this first evening session is: Being connected.
It is still time to register in one of the 200 towns taking part in France, the overseas dominions and abroad.
Taking part in the Université de la vie, is to take time to think on essential subjects, acquiring concrete tools in order to understand and to act, meeting people and forming bonds, feeding your commitment to serving the most vulnerable. It is also an opportunity for meeting the participant experts and their witness accounts.
For this first evening session, the UDV is calling on Jean André, Blanche Streb, Sabine Blanchard, Nicole Quinsat and Florian Laguens. Each of them will be considering the question of the bonds which link us, through a variety of presentations and witness accounts:
• Human intelligence in strength
• The science of epigenetics
• “The scars of abandonment in our children”
• Being links
• Remaining human tomorrow.
